Quiet Man Museum

A constant draw for visitors to this region is a continuing fascination with the John Ford classic, The Quiet Man. Starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, this romantic look back to the days of yore has stood the test of time and remains a film fan favourite to this day. There is a specialist museum dedicated to the film and its history in Cong village offering guided tours and memorabilia.
